About MediCore

A clinician-owned practice, not a chain

Sixteen years of building the kind of clinic our own founders wanted to send their families to.

Our purpose

We exist to shorten the distance between a question and an answer

Most people don't struggle to find healthcare — they struggle with the gaps between it. The referral that takes eleven weeks. The scan whose result nobody explains. The specialist who hasn't read the file.

MediCore was organised around closing those gaps. We hold a deliberately narrow set of services so that each one is properly staffed, properly equipped, and genuinely available when a clinician decides you need it.

Our mission

Coordinated, unhurried care where every patient leaves knowing the next step.

Our vision

A clinic model that Alberta communities can rely on for decades, not quarters.

What guides us

Four commitments we hold ourselves to

These aren't posters in the waiting room — each one maps to something measurable in how we run the clinic.

01

Continuity over convenience

You keep the same care lead wherever possible. We'd rather delay a booking by two days than hand you to a stranger.

02

Plain language, always

Every report we hand over is accompanied by an explanation you can repeat to your family without a dictionary.

03

Honest limits

If something falls outside our scope we say so immediately and help you find the right place, rather than stretching.

04

Time as a clinical tool

Standard consultations are 25 minutes and first visits are 45. Rushed appointments produce missed diagnoses.
